POSITION SUMMARY:

A courier is responsible for delivery and collection of various materials and materials of high sensitivity for all FHCP facilities, satellite offices, contracted provider offices and facilities. Required to perform your duties with a professional level of customer service. Required to follow all policies and guidelines set forth by Florida Health Care Plans and adhere to the OSHA safety and HIPPA privacy laws. All FHCP staff, required to complete quarterly courses as determined by Human Resources. Required to hold a valid Florida driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, skills, and experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. A valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record to qualify as a driver of company vehicles. Flexible work schedule, possibly requiring over-time to meet job description requirements. Must maintain professional neat and clean appearance. Competent in the English Language (Verbal and Written). Able to adapt to changing work situations, while maintaining efficiency and accuracy. Must be able to continuously lift up to 55lbs. using proper lifting techniques. Superior people skills including customer service and teamwork mindset. Ability to drive Pickup truck, cargo van and car. Ability to drive daily, up to and exceeding two hundred miles. Ability to remain calm and professional while driving in stressful traffic situations. Ability to work independently throughout the day. Posses’ organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload. Ability to perform duties in all weather conditions. Ability to physically endure excessive high pace walking throughout the workday.
