In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages and documents to various locations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to navigate efficiently through urban and rural areas. As a Courier Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing prompt and professional delivery services. Responsibilities Safely operate your vehicles including to transport goods. Load and unload packages, ensuring they are secured properly during transit. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps to meet delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during deliveries. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients upon delivery. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Experience as a courier, delivery driver, or van driver is highly desirable. Ability to load and unload items safely, including using equipment like pallet jacks when necessary. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping. Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) as required during deliveries. Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
