Logistics Atlanta, GA 30358 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OTR (Over-the-Road) For candates who are seeking to work same day with qualified documents needed. 3yr Certified MVR Report, Dot Physical aThe ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods across long distances while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong 14hr solo drivers commitment to customer service and adherence to safety regulations. As an OTR Driver, you will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for reliability and excellence. Responsibilities Operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently over long distances. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or inquiries. Navigate routes efficiently, utilizing GPS and maps as necessary. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably in warehouse or courier services. Familiarity with route driving and the ability to navigate various terrains. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Proficiency in using pallet jacks, straps and bars along with other warehouse equipment is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and communication.
