Medical Courier / Independent Contractor Medical Couriers Elite Atlanta, GA 30331 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages and documents, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate efficiently within designated routes. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload packages using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and customer signatures. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps to optimize delivery routes. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods. Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
