Full Job Description Overview:

Express OMV is one of the largest public tag agencies in Louisiana, proudly operating 18 locations statewide . We specialize in vehicle registration and title services, working closely with the public and a large network of new car dealerships.

Job Summary:

Express OMV is seeking a Statewide Driver based out of our Baton Rouge location to support our daily operations by transporting documents and materials between our locations and dealership clients across Louisiana. This full-time position requires extensive driving, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs when necessary, and a background check must be passed. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional in appearance, and capable of working independently under time-sensitive conditions. You will operate a company vehicle and must maintain a clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely drive a company vehicle for scheduled pickups and deliveries across Louisiana and into Texas Load, unload, and transport up to 40 lbs of processed work, license plates, and documents Ensure timely pickup and delivery to meet scanning deadlines implemented by the state OMV Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues Communicate effectively with supervisors about routes and schedules Operate a forklift if necessary (training/certification preferred) Maintain Corporate Warehouse and the delivery of new items into the warehouse Assist maintenance when projects and repairs are within distance and availability Represent Express OMV professionally when interacting with staff and external partners Cover the courier/runner routes at other Louisiana office locations when necessary

Requirements:

Valid Louisiana driver’s license with a clean driving record Must pass a background check Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs Sit for extended periods while driving long distances across the state Forklift operation knowledge preferred (certification a plus) Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Neat and professional appearance Strong communication and time-management skills Ability to work independently without direct supervision Stay overnight out of town or out of state when necessary
