Mail Courier (District-Wide) 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars 55 Locust St Ste 5, Woburn, MA 01801 Woburn Public Schools Mail Courier (District-Wide) Woburn Public Schools is seeking a dependable and motivated Mail Courier to support daily operations by transporting mail, packages, and materials between our 10 district schools and city hall. Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Director of Finance & Operations, the Mail Courier plays a key role in ensuring efficient and timely mail delivery across the district. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, punctual, and physically capable of managing daily delivery tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and distribute mail and packages from the central mailroom to all 10 schools and city hall Pick up outgoing items from schools and city hall and return to the central mailroom Load and unload materials—must be comfortable lifting items over 50 pounds Communicate effectively with school staff and administrators Maintain a consistent delivery schedule and professional demeanor
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Reliable personal vehicle for transportation Ability to lift and carry heavy items (over 50 lbs) Strong time-management and organizational skills Must pass a CORI background check Prior courier or delivery experience is a plus, but not required
Hourly Rate:
$21.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM to 11:30
