Courier/Swing Driver/DOT-1 Position Available In Norfolk, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Job Duties Operates company vehicles and provide courteous andefficient delivery and pick up of packages; to check shipments forconformance to FedEx features of service; Provides coverage for allassigned routes within the station’s service area; Provides relatedcustomer service functions. Minimum Education High schooldiploma/GED. Minimum Experience Six (6) months courier experiencepreferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge. Knowledge,Skills, and Abilities Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuverpackages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipmentand/or assistance from another person. Good human relations andverbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of the station’sservice area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability,dependability, and excellent courier methods. Job Conditions Neatappearance since customer contact is required. Must meet andmaintain the qualifications as outlined in the federal motorcarrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordancewith FMCSA or FAA regulations.
