Full Time Tuesday- Saturday Various shifts Job Duties Operatescompany vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery andpick up of packages; to check shipments for conformance to FedExfeatures of service; Provides coverage for all assigned routeswithin the station’s service area; Provides related customerservice functions. Performs other duties as assigned. MinimumEducation High school diploma/GED. Minimum Experience Six (6)months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstratearea knowledge. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to lift 50lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs withappropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Goodhuman relations and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledgeof the station’s service area preferred. Demonstrated skills inadaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods. JobConditions Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Mustmeet and maintain the qualifications as outlined in the federalmotor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam inaccordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
