In this role, you will assist in the delivery of goods to various locations while ensuring exceptional customer service. As a Delivery Helper, you will work closely with drivers to load and unload items, navigate delivery routes, and maintain a high standard of safety and efficiency throughout the delivery process. Responsibilities Assist the driver in loading and unloading packages from the delivery vehicle. Ensure that all items are delivered in good condition and on time. Help navigate delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and fuel usage. Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and workspace. Follow all safety protocols while handling heavy lifting tasks and operating equipment. Communicate effectively with the driver regarding any issues or concerns during deliveries. Qualifications Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 125 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Previous experience in a warehouse or courier environment is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools is beneficial. Experience operating box trucks or vans is advantageous. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations is a plus but not required. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and follow instructions accurately.
