Driver/Courier JR Advertising Atlantic City, NJ 08401 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and packages efficiently and safely to designated locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in route driving, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. This position requires a commitment to timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload items using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and delivery confirmations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues before and after trips, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff regarding delivery status and any issues encountered during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety guidelines while driving. Skills Proven experience as a Courier or Delivery Driver with a strong understanding of route driving. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading and unloading procedures. Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification preferred). Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and long periods of driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
