The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and manual transmission vehicles. Duties Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Navigate designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization. Must have a clean driving record – background check performed Skills Proficient in driving commercial vehicles with a valid driver’s license. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with moving cargo. Strong route driving skills with knowledge of local roadways and traffic patterns. Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
