The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various routes while adhering to all safety regulations. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining customer satisfaction. Duties Operate box trucks for the transportation of goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all trips. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety guidelines. Requirements Valid driver’s license preferred; must have a clean driving record. Experience operating box trucks, vans, or similar vehicles; familiarity with manual transmission is a plus. Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly desirable. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling delivery documentation. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must pass background checks as required by company policy.
