Parts Courier Position Available In Berks, Pennsylvania

Parts Courier Fraser Advanced Information Systems Reading, PA The Parts Courier is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of parts and supplies to various departments and clients. This role involves moving inventory and paperwork throughout all offices, maintaining vehicle and equipment, and representing the company in a professional manner. Additionally, the Parts Courier will assist in other areas of the logistics team as workload necessitates.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the supervisor receives a copy of the day’s deliveries. Pick and pull parts for delivery. Load all parts and supplies into the vehicle, ensuring nothing is forgotten. Place items on the car/van for delivery. Deliver parts and supplies to Service Technicians, offices, or clients professionally. Represent Fraser in a polite and courteous manner. Inform the supervisor of any immediate problems. Ensure accurate paperwork and deliver it to the appropriate personnel. Maintain the vehicle and all equipment used for deliveries. Keep the vehicle clean, inside and out, and report any malfunctions to the supervisor. Assist in other areas of the logistics team as workload necessitates.

QUALIFICATIONS

Good communication skills, both written and verbal Mechanical and electrical aptitude. Ability to work under stress. Ability to manage competing priorities such as service and customer service.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Travel Requirements:

Valid, clean driver’s license at all times, with 95% of travel required.

$12.00 – $18.00 per hour
