This role involves assisting customers in decluttering their spaces by removing unwanted items efficiently and responsibly. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess strong organizational skills, and have a customer-focused attitude. As a Junk Removal Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service while ensuring the safe handling and transportation of various items. Duties Load and unload junk and debris from residential and commercial properties. Operate vehicles such as box trucks or vans for transporting items to designated disposal sites. Perform heavy lifting and moving of various materials, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary to facilitate the removal process. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including vehicles used for transportation. Adhere to all safety guidelines while performing tasks, ensuring personal safety and that of team members. Requirements Proven experience in moving, delivery driving, or moving, or cleaning experience is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver or courier is a plus. Familiarity with operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and completing tasks effectively. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary. This will be an opportunity to GROW quickly.
