Monday•Friday with occasional weekends

Full-time exempt position with benefits
In this role, you will:
Strives to maintain a positive and harmonious work environment.
Interviews prospective applicants for the courier department.
Oversees departmental general orientation and training for employees.
Conducts performance appraisals for employees in a timely manner.
Counsels employees when indicated in accordance with AEL and departmental policies.
Utilizes staff effectively through scheduling and work assignments.
Maintains departmental quality assurance and quality control programs, taking corrective action as needed.
Follows and enforces all safety, infection control, and OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen guidelines.
Maintains expenses within a budgeted variance.
Maintains appropriate supplies as needed.
Ensures timely delivery of reports, records, etc.
Answers inquiries for courier department, test information, and basic customer related issues.
Ensures vehicles maintenance, fuel, and insurance cards are up to date.
Maintains safe driving habits by abiding to all law.
Ensures highest level quality of work for each specimen received.
Maintains and supports a service oriented relationship with clients and all other employees.
Enthusiastically performs miscellaneous duties with completion in a designated time frame.
All you need, is:
Five (5) years of experience in route driving/planning responsibilities in commercial logistics
working knowledge of the geographic area
proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel applications
excellent customer service communication skills
Current and valid Tennessee Driver’s license
good driving record.
