As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods and belongings for our clients. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Load and unload items from trucks and containers with care to prevent damage. Safely operate box trucks and other vehicles as required for transporting goods. Assist in packing, wrapping, and securing items for transport. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and vehicles. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and requirements. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance. Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including inventory logs. Skills Experience in warehouse operations is preferred. Proficient in loading and unloading techniques to ensure safe handling of items. Familiarity with driving box trucks; experience with manual transmission is a plus. Knowledge of forklift operation is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong driving skills with a valid commercial driving license preferred for certain positions. Experience in route driving or as a courier/delivery driver is advantageous. Excellent physical stamina to lift heavy items and perform manual labor tasks consistently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing inventory effectively.
