Job Description Responsible for initial truck inspections Approving repair costs, sending equipment out for repairs and documenting all repairs Communicating with vendors through various platforms to ensure orders are placed in a timely manner Communicating with drivers to answer any questions they have pertaining to their Lease Purchase (LP) Assisting with purchase orders and tracking the delivery dates Deliver, pickup assets as well as performing road tests as needed Responsible for the final inspection of trucks prior to showing them to drivers Assisting the leasing team with any last-minute concerns and fielding any questions Set parameters on all Lease Purchase (LP) trucks during inspection Facilitate leasing documents and requests once a driver approves of a vehicle Communicating with the equipment room and notifying of any changes Responsible for Driver Orientation for Lease Purchase (LP) vehicle Coordinating drop trailers from trucks to ensure a secure vendor pick-up Qualifications 1+ years of experience working in the transportation industry ( Preferred ) High School diploma / GED ( Required ) Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree ( Preferred ) The ability to work in a team setting and facilitate drivers’ needs and requests. Current or previous experience working in an automotive service role, ideally someone with CDL maintenance experience.
