Job Description
Delivery Driver (FedEx AVP) Hurricane Freight Sanford, NC 27330 Hurricane Freight is searching for independent and hard working individuals to join our team. We are a Fedex Ground contracting company that is looking to expand with your help. We are looking for professional individuals who want to work minimum hours and a make some extra money. This program can be compared to UberEats or DoorDash. maximum of 6 hours a day depending on how many deliveries you take. Job Summary Clock in time is 8:00 A.M. You will arrive to the terminal and load your own vehicle. All packages are small and do not weigh more than 20 pounds. Stop count is roughly 60-120 stops daily. Once your vehicle is loaded you van dispatch and start your route. Once everything has been delivered, you are done for the day!

Duties Safe driving at
ALL TIMES
Deliver the correct packages to the correct customer Follow all delivery protocols Meet efficiency requirements set by Hurricane Freight Requirements Must provide your own vehicle and insurance Must be 21+ years old Must have a valid drivers license for 1 year Must pass background and Motor Vehicle Record Check Must provide own maintenance and fuel to vehicle Reliable transportation
Your Vehicle:
Must be insured Must have current registration Must be less than 15 years old Must be less than 10,000 lbs GVWR (
EXAMPLES:
sedans, minivans, SUVs, station wagons, pick up trucks with covered and secured beds) No cargo vans Trucks must have cover over the bed
