This is a hands-on leadership role focused on team management, delivering exceptional customer service, controlling inventory, maintaining safety standards, and driving overall operational excellence and profitability. Responsibilities Staff Management & Leadership Hire, train, and supervise store staff Create and maintain weekly work schedules (no overtime) Ensure all employees follow company policies and clock in/out properly Train staff for emergency and safety procedures (e.g., fire, gas shut-off, robbery) Customer Service Greet customers and promote special offers and upselling Handle and resolve customer complaints professionally Ensure excellent service standards are maintained at all times Store Operations Conduct routine store inspections to ensure cleanliness and compliance Assign cleaning tasks and follow up on completion Enforce safety, sanitation, and loss prevention procedures Maintain store security and monitor daily cash handling Inventory & Merchandising Order and receive merchandise from suppliers Verify all deliveries and invoices; perform physical counts Maintain proper stock levels and prevent out-of-stock items Ensure price accuracy between shelf and POS Financial Management Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for improvement Monitor daily cash reconciliation and shift reports Track key inventory items (e.g., cigarettes) each shift Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred. Proficient in POS systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and basic financial reporting. Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in fuel and food retailing. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Problem-solving and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership, and communication skills.
