West Gardiner, ME 04345 Town Of West Gardiner Transfer Station Attendant The Town of West Gardiner is seeking a hard working and reliable individual for the position of Transfer Station Attendant- full time- (24-32 hr./week) position at our town Transfer Station. The ideal candidate will be hard working, reliable, and able to deal with our community members in a respectful and courteous manner. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and be on their feet for up to 4 hours at a time. The position reports directly to the Transfer Station Supervisor and includes but not limited to, identifying refuse materials for proper disposal location, directing residents in the proper disposal and separation of recyclables, checking Transfer Station permits, and cleanliness and upkeep of Transfer Station facilities as assigned by the Supervisor. Starting Pay range is $17.00 – $19.00/ hour with a full time benefits package available following a probationary period.
