Transfer Station Attendant 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 100 Ayers Island Road, Bristol, NH 03222 The Town of Bristol is seeking a qualified candidates for a part-time, permanent position (24-29 hours weekly) with the Transfer Station. Saturdays are required. The Transfer Station Attendant will be required to assist the public, operate Transfer Station equipment, lift 60 pounds, receive and records fees, maintain a cash box, and keep the work area clean and accessible. Knowledge of the appropriate disposal or placement of refuse and painted wood, brush, leaves, etc. is important. This position also checks for Transfer Station stickers. Applicants must have or will complete a NH Department of Environmental Services Principal Operator certificate within six (6) months of employment. A High School diploma or equivalent and a valid NH driver’s license is required. Applicants will be asked to pass a background investigation. Wage Scale range $14.33 – $15.56/hr pending experience.
