The ideal candidate will assist the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service and maximizing profitability. Responsibilities Oversee daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction Supervise and train retail staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and operational procedures Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking activities Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently Utilize POS systems to process sales and returns Implement merchandising strategies to optimize sales and enhance store appearance Assist in creating employee schedules and managing payroll Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a grocery store setting Proficiency in cash handling procedures and retail math Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills Bilingual proficiency is a plus Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Ability to upsell products and drive sales growth
