Full-Time Job Summary:
We’re a non-emergency wheelchair transportation provider dedicated to providing quality transportation for greater Tampa Bay area. We are searching for professional drivers who are dedicated, on time, polite, and open to full time work.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Pick-up clients at home or other living facility using company provided vehicle. Provides the assistance required to safely board clients and caregivers. Makes sure that wheelchairs and passengers are properly secured before starting vehicle. Once arriving at the facility, you are expected to assist passengers in exiting the vehicle and reaching their destination. Follow company safety and operational rules and procedures. Operate cell phone devices, routing app and operate GPS (Google maps). Follow safe loading and unloading procedures. Communicate transport details with dispatcher. Display friendly and polite behavior to all passengers.
Education and Experience:
Must hold a currently valid driver’s license High school diploma or equivalent and fluency in English required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and position clients frequently. Must be able to perform considerable reaching, stooping, and bending. Ability to drive for over an hour, when required OK for recruiters to contact this job poster.
