The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers or goods to various destinations while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong understanding of transportation regulations, and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers and team members. Responsibilities Operate vehicles to transport passengers or goods safely and efficiently. Maintain the vehicle in good working condition by performing regular inspections and necessary maintenance. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes in transportation plans. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle as needed. Ensure timely delivery of goods or passengers to their designated locations. Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, including paratransit, shuttle driving. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members. Ability to maintain a clean driving record and comply with all transportation regulations. Familiarity with navigation systems and local traffic patterns. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely arrivals at destinations. Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and professionally while on the road.
