The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from medical appointments, dialysis treatments, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare- related destinations. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, genuine desire to help others, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. The Transport Driver will operate a Ford E- Series Van with wheelchair lift, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. Responsibilities Safely drive and operate vehicle for passenger transport. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance. Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch regarding schedules, routes, and any issues that may arise. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, departure, and addressing inquiries. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist in heavy lifting of equipment as required during loading and unloading processes. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption. Requirements Valid Class C driver’s license; experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, or van driving is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Proven experience in maintaining vehicles and understanding basic mechanical functions is advantageous. A commitment to safety standards and protocols while operating vehicles. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends or evenings if necessary.
