The Position:
We are looking for a Medical Delivery Technician to join our growing team!
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma
Minimum 2 years of experience delivering consumer equipment (preferred)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
Basic computer skills
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and set up complex power chairs
Ability to interact effectively with patients
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, be detail-oriented and organized
Ability to meet multiple competing deadlines
Required to be certified via internal certification process
Overview:
The Medical Delivery Technician, reports to the Branch Manager and has responsibility for the delivery, assembly, repair, and maintenance of all Rehab Medical provided home medical equipment.
Below are some key functions and skills for this opportunity:
Receives and assembles complex rehab products before delivery
Assists with evaluations, in-services, and demos in professional settings such as hospitals, clinics, or patient homes
Ensures that any rehab service is completed promptly
Obtains quotes for service parts and ordering in conjunction with purchasing department
Delivers and assembles home medical equipment
Diagnoses and repairs equipment to ensure proper functioning of equipment
Monitors and tracks inventory
Interacts with patients and acquires accurate delivery paperwork
Provides additional assessment and or recommendations to the ATP to ensure patient’s needs are satisfied
Completes continuing education on rehab products
