Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver MedGO , Inc. Dahlonega, GA 30533 Job Summary Transport and assist clients to and from medical appointments and related services, using a company-assigned vehicle. Duties Provide safe and respectful assistance to clients Assist clients in wheelchairs Weekend shifts required Previous driving experience is a plus, but we welcome entry-level applicants as well Successfully pass a pre-employment background check, physical examination, and drug screening Safely operate vehicles, and vans, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety at all times. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, passengers, and other team members regarding schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns professionally. Requirements Weekend shifts required Must be over the age of 21 with a clean driving record and three years driving experience Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Experience in passenger driving is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during transport duties. Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies. CPR & First Aid Training will be provided
