Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver 2.0 2.0 out of 5 stars New Bern, NC 28562 We are hiring for Medical Transport Driver who can provide professional and compassionate care while transporting individuals. The primary objective of the Driver is to provide transportation, while preserving the patients’ dignity and ensuring safety. Must be flexible and willing to learn new skills.

Job Qualifications:

• Must have at least 6 months experience (Transporting patients)
• Knowledge of operating wheelchair van and equipment
• CPR Certified
• Able to lift/move 100+ lbs
• Correct mapping to and from dispatched locations
• Maintaining good working relationships with facility staff, personnel, and citizens
• Maintaining professional appearance
• Adhering company protocols
• Always maintaining clean vehicle (maintaining equipment)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be willing to handle flexible schedule
• Clean Driving Record
• Must pass background check
• Full Time position with benefits Responsibilities Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring comfort and care throughout the journey.

Assist patients with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle, providing necessary support. Maintain accurate records of patient transport and communicate any special needs to healthcare providers. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained, conducting regular inspections. Stay updated on CPR and basic life support protocols to assist patients in emergencies.
