Job Description:

We are looking for responsible and reliable Delivery Driver Helpers to assist with the delivery, setup, and breakdown of inflatables, tents, tables, and chairs for various events in the Northern New Jersey area. This is a physically demanding role, requiring you to work outdoors, lift heavy items, and assist the driver in making deliveries in a timely and professional manner. As a Delivery Driver Helper, you will work alongside our drivers to ensure that event rentals are delivered and set up smoothly, while also assisting with cleaning, inspecting, and breaking down the equipment after the event. You will help load and unload equipment from the vehicle and follow safety procedures to ensure that all tasks are completed properly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with delivering, setting up, and breaking down a variety of inflatable units, games, tents, tables, and chairs for events. Help load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring all equipment is secure and in good condition. Perform light cleaning and inspections of equipment before and after use. Follow safety protocols and provide customers with safety instructions for the equipment. Assist with collecting payments and ensuring a smooth customer experience. Ensure all items are returned to the warehouse or storage area after events. Assist in any other delivery and setup-related tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Must be physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items (up to 200+ pounds with assistance). Must be available to work on Saturdays and Sundays with a flexible schedule. Reliable transportation (own a vehicle to get to work location). Ability to work well under pressure and handle physically demanding tasks. Ability to communicate effectively and provide friendly, customer-oriented service. A positive, hardworking attitude and excellent teamwork skills.

Compensation:

Pay:

$15.00 – $16.00 per hour plus tips. Guaranteed 30 hours per week with weekly pay. Tips provided for great service!

Schedule:

Weekend availability is required (Saturday and Sunday). Holidays may be required depending on customer needs.

Ideal Candidates:

Have previous experience in a delivery/helper role. Are comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Are able to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards.
