We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Warehouse Driver to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:
Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Load and unload merchandise, utilizing hand trucks and proper lifting techniques. Verify orders against shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any issues promptly. Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately, demonstrating responsible cash handling. Navigate delivery routes efficiently using map reading and smartphone operation. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, promoting cleanliness and professionalism. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and colleagues, utilizing interpersonal communication skills. Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules, demonstrating strong time management skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid CDL Class A or B with Hazmat endorsement is required. A Good Driving Record is expected. Working knowledge of vehicle inspection procedures. General knowledge of loading and unloading techniques. Ability to lift heavy objects (lifting ability). Working knowledge of English Language. Ability to operate a smartphone.
