Job Description
Warehouse Helper – Columbia, SC 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Columbia, SC 29201 Assists in the completion of jobs by taking materials and equipment to the job site and performing other miscellaneous duties to expedite prompt completion. Supports good customer relations and responds immediately to service/job needs.

$17-$18/hr

M-F 8-5

- Must pass extensive background checks
- Must pass drug testing Assists Warehouseperson by pulling appropriate materials for scheduled jobs.
Drives a box truck to deliver supplies and equipment to job sites. Coordinates delivery of materials to the job site which may involve picking up parts for delivery. Receives incoming shipments checking the purchase order. Orders materials for delivery. Operates a forklift to load and unload equipment to/from installer vans. May procure permits. Keeps back lot clean and disposes of old units in scrap bins. Assist plumbers and installers with moving equipment on occasion. Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area. A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent is preferred. Some previous warehouse experience is
REQUIRED.
Forklift experience is
REQUIRED.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. An understanding of air conditioning, heating, electrical and/or plumbing is desired. A valid state driver’s license is required.
