THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a full-time salary (exempt) position with a salary of $50,000 per year. Standard hours are M-F 7:30AM – 4:30PM, with additional hours as business needs require. This position requires travel up to 50% of the time. We value your work-life balance and also, being home on the weekends. The official internal job title will be “Logistics Team Member,” but this is hybrid position. Meaning, driving / loading & unloading / warehouse work / processing electronics, etc. The perfect fit will be someone adaptable, who loves being a team player. Whenever you’re not on the truck, you’ll jump in to help our team with processing the product we get in from our clients. We’re looking for a safe, courteous, and customer-oriented individual. Sometimes you’ll stay local, but other times, pick-ups may take you a couple hours away, or a couple states away! We also may ask you to travel between ER2 locations for additional support as business needs fluctuate by location. So this person must be willing to travel as needed, by truck or by plane! (You of course will be given as much notice as possible before each trip.)

THE DAY TO DAY

Follow planned daily route based on pick-ups assigned Provide excellent customer service when picking up from clients Safely and securely load, transport, and unload goods Keep up with daily communication with clients, partners, and team members via phone and email Perform vehicle inspections Maintain accurate records Utilize multiple sources to research and assess resale value of electronic products received Sort non valuable products into appropriate containers Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, power lifts, or front-end loaders to load bales, bundles, or other heavy items Clean and maintain company vehicles, as well as supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Provide assistance or direction to other departments. Utilize internal communication tools to reach other departments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The ability to lift, push, pull, maneuver or carry heavy objects as needed, 70-100 lbs. Ability to sit and/or stand for consecutive hours.

OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver’s license Legally authorized to work in the United States The ability to speak/read English fluently 50%+ of overnight travel, as required for business needs Experience driving larger vehicles is a definite plus, not required (will be driving a 26-foot box truck) The ability to pass a drug screen. This position is responsible for some safety-sensitive duties (operating company vehicles/heavy machinery) and therefore requires a commitment from the team member to be completely drug free – please keep this in mind before submitting your application.
