This is a Non-Emergency driver position. Typical calls include dialysis and dialysis related appointments.

Job Duties:

• Transport passengers safely, load & unload both passengers and belongings.
• Follow schedule as directed by dispatch.
• Maintain vehicle interior and exterior, notify transportation staff of any maintenance issues.
• Complete and turn in all required route documents at the end of shift.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

• Safety and security minded, able to read and use GPS & other apps. Possess a good working knowledge of Shelby County.
• Reliable, enthusiastic, customer service/team oriented, effective communicator.
• Able to lift and safely operate ferno/stryker stretchers.
• Must possess a minimum of a valid F Endorsement License, or the ability to obtain one.
• Less than two moving violations on driver’s record within the last five years
• No more than one accident on drivers record within the last five years
• Pass Federal Criminal Background Check
• First Aid/CPR certification would be great but not required, Full time and part time shifts available.
