As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods for our clients. This position requires physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. Responsibilities Load and unload items from trucks or other vehicles with care to prevent damage. Safely operate manual transmission vehicles when driving to various locations. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the moving process. Assist in packing, wrapping, and securing items for transport. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to safety regulations. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary to move heavy items. Perform heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper lifting techniques are followed to maintain safety. Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and vehicles. Skills Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Experience as a courier or in similar roles is a plus. Ability to load and unload items safely and efficiently. Familiarity with operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous. Previous experience in moving or logistics is beneficial. Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks regularly throughout the workday. Competent in route driving with knowledge of local areas.
