In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the transportation of goods and personal belongings for our clients. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that items are handled with care and delivered safely to their destination. Duties Load and unload items from trucks and vans, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Drive box trucks or vans along designated routes to transport goods to various locations. Utilize equipment such as Dollies, hand trucks, and palletjacks for efficient movement of heavy items. Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in packing and unpacking items for clients, ensuring all belongings are organized and secure. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse or storage area. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and requirements. Complete necessary paperwork related to deliveries and inventory management. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Ability to operate box trucks or vans; familiarity with manual transmission is a plus. Experience in warehouse operations or moving services is advantageous. Strong physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long hours on your feet. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
