Additionally, we help with staging client’s homes and Retirement community apartments. Our team works with a range of clients, and to accomplish our timelines we need a team leader to help us with managing and delivering the packing material. GENERAL JOB SUMMARY

Moving Assistants (MA) are team members working in a client’s home doing the packing, unpacking, and settling in to the client’s new home. We are NOT a moving company, preferring to partner with traditional movers to load, transport & unload. However, we are seeking fit, caring individuals to assist our Move Managers in completing projects to a high degree of client satisfaction. As a team, we strive to create a seamless and stress-free experience for our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Compassionate Ability to complete physical work on a regular basis and carryout occasional long days with the goal of completing a job (30 pounds lifting). Friendly, empathetic attitude towards our overwhelmed clients Ability to maintain a sense of calm in a demanding environment. Comfortable working as part of a team Effective communication and follow-up, both verbal and written.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Pack & unpack clients’ possessions safely & efficiently as directed by your Move Manager Hang pictures, make beds, stock cabinets Assist with loading, unloading & disposal of GT materials Report promptly & as agreed to the job locations Work well with a variety of moving companies and their team members. Strive for an excellent client experience on every job.

TRAINING

Gentle Transitions coordinates orientation and field training for the MA to be successful in the role.

DETAILS & COMPENSATION

Moving Assistants’ hours are part-time and will vary daily/weekly. Valid driver’s license (required)
