Moving Company Helper South Florida Van Line Hialeah, FL 33016 Overview We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Movers to join our team. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of goods for our clients. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading items while providing exceptional service to our customers. Duties Load and unload items from trucks or vans with care to prevent damage. Safely operate vehicles for transporting goods, including delivery vans and trucks. Assist in packing and unpacking items as needed. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any special requests. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts for heavy lifting tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Skills Experience as a Delivery Driver or Commercial Driver is preferred. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle is a plus. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics. Proficient in using forklifts and pallet jacks for moving heavy items. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
