Moving Specialist Move Precision New Orleans, LA Overview We are seeking dedicated and reliable Movers to join our team. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods for our clients. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with your team. Responsibilities Load and unload items from trucks and other vehicles with care and efficiency. Perform heavy lifting of various items, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Drive box trucks or vans to transport items between locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Assist in packing and unpacking items, ensuring they are secure for transport. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate moving tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Follow all company policies regarding safety procedures during loading, unloading, and transportation. Requirements Previous experience in moving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus. Familiarity with operating dollies, trucks, or similar equipment is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends if necessary. A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
