Moving Technician F.C. Ross Logistics, LLC Jackson, MS 39201 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced moving technician for physically moving and handling furniture and household items, often requiring heavy lifting and the ability to follow instructions from a crew leader. The role may also include packing, unpacking, and protecting belongings during the move. Additional responsibilities may include assembling furniture, and utilizing proper moving techniques.

Key responsibilities and requirements include:

Physical Demands:

Lifting heavy objects (up to 70 lbs unassisted, and with team assistance for items over 50 lbs).

Work Ethic:

Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and maintain a positive attitude.

Skills :

Experience in moving, packing, and unpacking is preferred but not always required, with some employers willing to provide training.

Customer Service:

Interacting with clients and move consultants, ensuring their satisfaction.

Background Check and Drug Test:

Some positions require passing a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test.

Availability:

Some jobs may require working six days per week. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck or van to transport items to various locations. Load and unload heavy items, ensuring proper handling techniques to prevent injury. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients. Assist in packing and organizing items for efficient transport. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the vehicle.
