Office Furniture Delivery and Installation Position Available In Lee, Mississippi

Summary:

Office Furniture Warehouse is a New and Used Office Furniture dealer located in Tupelo, MS who serves customers throughout the Southeastern USA. This Delivery and Installation job is based here in Tupelo, MS. The job consists of building and assembling office furniture such as chairs and desks, delivering items to customers locations, loading out customers who pick up at our facility in Tupelo, and of course driving the delivery trucks and trailers. Hours are Mon-Fri 9:00a-5:00p and employees do occasionally leave earlier than 9:00 and get back later than 5:00. Average work week is 41-45 hours. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications:

Good driving record is required. Submit to and passing drug test is required. This is a manual labor type position, requiring the picking up of chairs that can weigh 30-50 lbs and desks that can weigh 150-350 lbs or more. Moving equipment is used, but sometimes we run into staircases or narrow doorways where we have to physically handle something and just have to pick it up to get it in an area.

Typical starting pay is $16.00 per hours, with raises every 90 days ending at $18.00 per hour after Year 1.An experienced worker with a proven job history and/or experience in our field would potentially be eligible to start at a higher wage rate depending on circumstances.
