As a Mover, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely packing, loading, transporting, and unloading household and commercial items for our clients. This is a physically demanding role that requires strength, stamina, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and belongings at various locations. Drive between job sites as required; reliable transportation is necessary. Package, pad, and wrap fragile items to prevent damage during transit. Use moving tools such as dollies, hand trucks, and straps to support heavy lifting. Conduct pre-move assessments and develop moving strategies as needed. Follow safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, client property, and the work environment. Maintain clean and organized moving trucks and equipment. Accurately document and track items being moved or stored. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members. Work collaboratively to meet job timelines and ensure a seamless move.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in the moving and storage industry preferred. Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy items repeatedly. Ability to work in varying environments and weather conditions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation. Flexible availability, including weekends or extended hours as needed.
