As a Delivery Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to providing excellent customer service while assisting the delivery driver with various tasks. Responsibilities Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading boxes from the vehicle. Ensure that all deliveries are made accurately and on time, following designated routes. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with customers during deliveries. Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring safe handling of packages. Communicate effectively with the delivery team to coordinate schedules and address any issues that may arise during deliveries. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts when necessary, adhering to safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in the delivery industry preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe practices is essential. Experience driving box trucks or vans, is a plus. Route driving experience is beneficial for navigating efficiently to delivery locations. Strong customer service skills are necessary for interacting with clients and ensuring satisfaction.
