Mover with his own Pickup Truck and Hitch Traversent Solutions, Inc. Fort Dix, NJ 08640 Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated mover to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting a generator safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service. The Mover must have his/her own vehicle with a 2 5/16 ” hitch and attach a flatbed that has a generator on it to his/her vehicle in order to move generator from a parking lot at the Fort Dix Correctional Facility to inside the compound approximately a few hundred feet to half a mile depending on where the facility needs the generator that day. This role is ideal for someone looking for a few extra hours per month as the schedule only requires one hour in the morning and one hour in the late afternoon around 4 pm for 2-6 days per month. Duties Safely operate vehicle, including flatbed to transport generator to designated locations. Attach and detach generator flatbed from vehicle. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with facility staff regarding any issues that arise. Adhere to all safety protocols while driving and during loading/unloading processes. Skills Strong ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required. Proficient in attaching flatbeds to vehicles. Knowledge of safe loading/unloading procedures. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet scheduled arrival times. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
