Mover/Packer – Charleston Live Junkless Charleston Charleston, SC 29407 I’m Brett, and I’m one of the co-owners of Live Junkless. I’m glad you’re here. I started the company in 2021 in Bend, Oregon with my co-founder Adam Jorgensen, and we have since grown to the leading junk removal and moving company in Central Oregon. Our vision is to continue to grow and become a leading business across the United States, and our Charleston location is a big step. Charleston is a new location and our manager, Cooper is looking for a few key first employees to join the team. If you’re looking for a part-time role and enjoy working in a small business that is growing, we want to here from you! We are looking for high performers to join us. Moving is physically demanding. Stamina and enthusiasm are required! You don’t need to have experience with junk removal or moving. Our team will train you on everything you need to know (including the customer experience, the key to our success), so you can thrive in your position.

The Job:

Handle clients’ belongings with exceptional care during loading, transport, and unloading Properly wrap, secure, and protect items from damage during the moving process Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed Use professional moving equipment including dollies and furniture sliders Navigate challenging spaces while maintaining safety protocols Work as part of a coordinated team to complete moves efficiently Provide outstanding customer service throughout the moving process Complete required paperwork and documentation Maintain equipment and vehicles in clean, working condition Follow company procedures and safety guidelines

Basic Requirements:

Be nice! I know, we shouldn’t have to say that, but we mean it. Ultimately we want people people. Able to bend, climb, kneel and stand for long periods. Days can be long. Physically able to lift 75-150lbs. Able to stay calm during long days, self manage and push the team in a positive direction throughout moves. Basic knowledge of hand tools (Power drill, hammer, screwdriver.) Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (not including THC) and criminal background check Knowledge of basic software such as navigation apps, Google etc as well as tablet and computer use Professional & approachable appearance. Professional Mover:
Interview Process :

Initial phone screening followed by an in-person interview where we get to know you and you learn about our company culture.

Paid Orientation :

Comprehensive 3-day paid orientation program where you’ll learn the proper techniques and standards that make our movers exceptional.

Apprentice Mover :

Work alongside experienced movers to develop your skills in proper lifting, furniture handling, customer service, and team coordination.

Junior Mover :

After successfully completing your apprentice moves, you’ll graduate to Junior Mover status with increased responsibilities and compensation.

Career Growth Path :

Clear advancement opportunities from Junior Mover to Senior Mover, Team Lead, and Operations Manager positions.

Earning Potential :

Interview Process:

Our interview process is not long, but it’s thorough. We want to make sure that each person who joins the team is the right fit for Live Junkless Charleston. And that we are the right fit for you! After we review your application, you will be contacted for an interview with our team, if we want to know more. Plan on up to 45 minutes. The next step is an onsite interview with a manager. Plan for approximately 60 minutes.
