Responsibilities Safely operate moving trucks, ensuring all items are securely transported from point A to B. Lead and motivate your team throughout the moving process, setting the pace and the standard for hard work and professionalism. Conduct detailed inventory checks and ensure all items are accounted for before and after the move. Execute efficient packing strategies to maximize safety and space utilization within the moving truck. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Handle and resolve any on-the-spot challenges or customer concerns with compassion and professionalism. Conduct pre-trip inspections before each job to ensure operational safety and reliability. Facilitate communication between the moving team and customers, providing updates and reassurances throughout the moving process. Train and mentor new team members, imparting the “hardest worker in the room” ethos and operational best practices.
