Flight Instructor Marshland Aviation Oxford, AL 36203 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Flight Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of aviation principles and a passion for teaching. As a Flight Instructor, you will be responsible for training aspiring pilots in both classroom and flight settings, ensuring they develop the necessary skills to operate aircraft safely and effectively. Your role will involve curriculum development, adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations, and fostering a positive learning environment. Responsibilities Conduct ground school instruction covering aviation theory, regulations, and safety protocols. Develop and implement comprehensive training curricula tailored to student needs. Provide flight instruction in various aircraft types, ensuring students can aviate competently. Evaluate student performance through assessments and practical flight exercises. Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback. Ensure compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations during training sessions. Assist students with aircraft maintenance knowledge as needed. Foster effective communication with students to enhance their learning experience. Engage in public speaking opportunities to promote aviation education and safety. Skills In-depth knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and aviation standards. Experience in classroom instruction and curriculum development. Strong public speaking skills to effectively communicate complex concepts. Familiarity with aircraft maintenance procedures and terminology. Ability to work collaboratively with students of varying skill levels. Proficient in teaching both theoretical concepts and practical flying techniques. Strong communication skills to build rapport with students and facilitate learning.
