Role:
As the Chief Instructor Pilot , you’ll lead by example—setting the tone with professionalism, ethics, consistency, and enthusiasm. You’ll be entrusted with not only ensuring compliance with FAR Part 141 standards, but also mentoring, developing, and empowering a team of outstanding instructors to deliver best-in-class flight training. ???
What You’ll Own:
Leadership & Standardization:
Inspire a positive, safety-first training culture built on ethics, fairness, emotional balance, and relentless standards of excellence.
Instructor Development:
Train, coach, and mentor Flight and Ground Instructors to maintain top-tier instructional quality and safety. Conduct regular instructor standardization meetings and evaluations. Qualify instructors for Assistant Chief and Check Pilot roles.
Student Success:
Review individual student progress with instructors to ensure timely and satisfactory advancement through their programs. Guarantee each student receives a high-quality, consistent educational experience.
Operational Oversight:
Maintain and audit instructor and student documentation in compliance with CFR Parts 61 and 141. Guide instructors on proper recordkeeping and procedural compliance.
Emergency Preparedness:
Ensure full compliance with Emergency Action Protocols.
Team Composition:
Maintain adequate staffing of MEIs and CFIIs to meet training demand. ??

Licenses and Certifications:
Commercial or ATP Pilot License Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI)
Experience:
2000+ hours Pilot-in-Command time 1500+ hours Dual Given instructional time Full compliance with
CFR 141.35
