How you’ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Delta Professional Services (DPS) is seeking an experienced Part 121 Pilot with a strong technical background to serve as a FOS – Technical Advisor – Design & Development. This role combines operational expertise with a focus on systems management, process optimization, and training content development to enhance efficiency and support the DPS operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Access & Integration:

Facilitate system access for flight operations personnel. Oversee external technologies that interface with operational systems, ensuring seamless integration. Pad EFB Applications Process Optimization & Synergy:

Analyze and refine operational processes to enhance efficiency across flight operations workflows. Collaborate with stakeholders to create synergies between technology, training, and operational procedures. Develop and implement best practices for system utilization and process improvement.

Training Content Development:

Create training videos and instructional materials to support DPS operations on system usage, external technologies, and operational enhancements. Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives, ensuring DPS flight operations personnel are proficient in using technology to improve flight operations. Provide technical guidance and support for new system rollouts affecting flight crews. Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States. Commercial/Airline Transport Pilot, Flight Engineer, Certified Ground/Flight Instructor certificates or military equivalents Strong data analysis skills are required. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills; ability to seek input, understand, and ask the right questions to drive the right solution for the enterprise. Ability to think strategically to align tactical projects and initiatives with Delta’s long-term goals. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred. Experience in creating, developing, and maintaining solutions in Office365 applications such as Excel, Power BI, Teams, PowerApps, Access, Project, SharePoint etc. is highly desirable. Experience in developing and maintaining solutions in Smartsheet is highly desirable. Confidence in installing and troubleshooting Windows hardware and software. Previous aviation experience a plus. Must be flexible and highly receptive of evolving work procedures and duties. Extensive experience with aviation systems, external technologies, and process improvement. Proven ability to develop and deliver training content, including video-based instructional materials. Strong analytical skills with experience in systems access management and operational integration.
