PRIVAIRA

is seeking qualified Pilot in Command candidates for our Midsize jet aircraft for Part 91 and 135 flight operations.

It is expected that the candidate lives, or be willing to relocate, within a 2-hour call out time of their home base.

Position Summary The Pilot in Command (PIC) reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot.

The PIC prepares and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

3,000 Hours Total Flying Time1,500 Hours Pilot-In-Command (PIC)

Impeccable Safety recordInitial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.

Valid U.S. driver’s licenseMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorshipATP rated or Commercial rated with ATP written completeFAA 1st Class MedicalAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing when requiredUnrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countriesAbility to release and pass a FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief PilotAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidaysBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience requiredMajority of work is completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminalsMove up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis

Essential Functions:

Safe and efficient flight operations for domestic and international trip assignments operating under 14 CFR Part 91 and Part 135 regulations while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Maintain a high degree of crew coordination, performing duties in a professional, efficient, and cordial manner at all times.

Greeting of passengers and assistance with passenger seating and luggage storageConduct passenger briefings and respond to passenger requests and needsAdhere to the duties and responsibilities stated in all company procedures manuals.

Maintain a current first class medical certificate as required by Privaira policy and notify the company if a medical (physical or mental) condition may impair the ability to perform flight dutiesPerform other duties as assigned

Skills:

Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135, and Part 91Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, & other international flight operations regulationsStrong organizational skills & advanced multi-tasking abilitiesStrong interpersonal, verbal/written and presentation skills are necessary to perform job at the expected levelComputer skills necessary to operate word processing, email and web-based and/or mobile device applicationsMust possess a passionate attention to detail and the ability to work in a team atmospherePresent a well-groomed appearance at all times
