DESCRIPTION
Under general supervision of the Assistant Director of Driver Relations, performs various tasks related to assisting motor coach drivers in the performance of their duties.
TYPICAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain open door policy for all drivers. Manages and resolves all driver questions and concerns. Acts as a liaison between drivers and management. Reviews driver files and recommends to Assistant Director of Driver Relations whether action is required. Responsible for driver attendance, payroll information, gratuity records, uniform orders. Resolve operational and customer complaints. Actively work with other Driver Managers. Collaborate with other departments including Scheduling, Cashiers, and Dispatchers to resolve issues. May be required to perform other related duties as requested.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
Experience:
Extensive background in employee management and customer service.
Skill at:
Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of:
Greater Orlando area.
Licenses:
Florida Driver’s License.
Special Requirements:
Flexible hours, weekends, and holidays are required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships with drivers and colleagues. Experience in conflict resolution, following and maintaining workplace confidentiality and privacy. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to learn and become proficient in other programs. Knowledge of Samsara, Santa Cruz, AS400 desirable. Must be able to access, enter and retrieve information from a computer system, and 10-key calculator. Must be able to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions. Must be able to communicate by telephone, two-way radio system, and in person in clear fluent English in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner with drivers, customers, co-workers, and other persons. Must be able to read and comprehend driver files, receipts, correspondence, inter-office communications and other documents.
